Court Date, Yahooooooo!!!!
The phone finally rang this morning with the news I've been waiting for. We have a court date. It is December 6th. If everything goes according to plan I will arrive in Ethiopia on Dec. 25th and will leave on Jan. 1st. What a terrific holiday present. Tsebay and I will travel to the east coast a week or two prior to my travel. She will be in the adoring hands of Mimi and Pop Pop while I'm picking up Kozette. I know they are thrilled to be able to wake with her on Christmas morning. We will celebrate the holidays when I return as a family of three. What a great day!

As I waded through the Gladney process, I have followed your blog from the beginning. I rejoiced when you brought home Tsebay and have watched with much anticipation to the journey of Kozette.
My court date to bring home my daugher Ella Hewan is also December 6 with travel dates the same as yours. I hope that we might have the chance!

Congratulations! I am Carey's sister (of Drew Carey Show) She's currently in Ethiopia right now, and about to meet Zoe within a matter of hours. I know that if she were home she'd be so excited for you--we've both been following your blog ever since you brought home Tsebay...a BEAUTIFUL baby girl. Maria, thanks for checking in on our blog! We've been following your adventures since the baby shower for Tsebay, and we hope to get to Maui sometime in the near future and meet you and your gorgeous girls!
As part of preparation for baby #2, I've been going through all of Ellie's baby clothes (of which she has TONS). Do you think Gladney could use some clothing donations? Everything is in great shape, but we have enough for 10 babies age 0-6 months, and that's a bit crazy to keep to ourselves.
Again, best wishes for your upcoming journey! If you need to stop over in Amsterdam, you will have a place to stay!

I keep meaning to email you back. YAY! I'm so excited for you to finally be with your beautiful little girl and for you all to be together once and for all! I loved seeing the new pics from Drew & Carey - they're great!! I'm jealous that so many of my favorite bloggers will be in Addis together, but I can't wait to hear/see all about the trips!
